In Acts 6, the early church faced a crisis that threatened to fracture their fellowship. Vulnerable people were falling through the cracks, and the noise of their legitimate complaint was drowning out the preaching of the Gospel.


So, what did the Apostles do? They didn't ignore the hurting, but they also refused to sacrifice the Word of God on the altar of the urgent. Instead, they called for a new kind of leader: Guardians.
